The HOME program supports activities addressing affordable housing needs within the County. Funding has provided rental subsidies to homeless families through the County’s Tenant-Based Rental Assist (TBRA) program as well as issued downpayment assistance to income-eligible first-time homebuyers.  Additionally, HOME funds are allocated to the County’s designated Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), which assists in the development of new construction and rehabilitated homes.
