Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
Within Clayton County, ESG funds are primarily utilized to support emergency shelter operations and homelessness prevention services such as rent and utility assistance. Federal guidelines also allow funds to be used for rapid re-housing, street outreach and HMIS database management. Within these program areas, families in need may also gain assistance with housing searches, landlord-tenant mediation, legal services, credit repair, child care assistance, transportation and relocation costs.
